Dancing in the Kitchen

Inspiration

15 Jan

If your nights are anything like ours, they involve rush hour traffic, a hurried dinner in the kitchen juggling a crazy toddler (my husband doesn’t even sit down to eat most nights), bath time, books, bottle and bed (whew!) only to come down to a sink full of dishes, food all over the floor, laundry that needs to be started,…

One Day, You Will Miss the Mess

Parenting After Infertilty

I looked at the disaster in front of me and thought, “How did it get like this?” We…

Inspiration

30 Dec

This last year was a whirlwind, that’s the best way I can put it. Whirlwind. That was my word for 2017. I didn’t intentionally pick a word…this sort of landed in my lap. Maybe if I had chosen a word at the beginning of the year, things would have been different. I felt like one of those fallen autumn leaves…

I loved carrying life inside of me, and I hope one…

About Me

I’m the mama of an amazing little boy who just so happens to also be a perinatal stroke survivor. Our son, Alex, was born after years of struggling with infertility. He is my “why” and pushed me to create this blog and share our journey with the world so no mother would ever feel alone or lose hope again. He is the inspiration for this blog and our beautiful hope. I hope you find resources here that are helpful, a shoulder to comfort you during hard times, and encouragement to help keep you going.
